How to reflect on your weekly journal
Return to what you wrote, then choose what to make room for.
Start with the entries you have
Open your journal and browse the last few days. You do not need a complete week: a few entries are enough to begin. Empty days do not tell you how those days went; they only mean you did not write anything.
Three questions to explore
Which moment comes back to me? Is there an activity I would like to do again? Is there something I would like to make more room for? Pick just one question and let the answer be short. You do not have to find a lesson in every week.
Notice without assigning causes
You might notice that on some days you walked and recorded a pleasant mood. That is an observation, not proof that walking caused that mood. Your journal contains only part of the context; avoid turning a few entries into rules about yourself.
A small next step, if you want one
If you find something you want to repeat, keep it as an idea: read a few pages, contact someone or take a quiet moment. You can also close the journal without choosing an activity. Reflection does not require a plan.
Reflection in Body Mind Soul
In Body Mind Soul, reflections arrive on days 3, 7, 10, 17, 20, 27… after your first entry. Each period has a reflection generated once and saved, ready to revisit without generating it again. Revisit activities and your words, with an AI-generated reflection and question based on activities, mood, energy, state of mind and notes from the period. The app is coming soon to iOS and Android; explore its screenshots on the home page.
